RIP Ronnie Montrose March 3, 2012
Ronnie Montrose at the 2005 Hollister Independence Rally. Ronnie asked Pat Travers to join him on stage to play "Mean Motor Scooter". My friend hosted the VIP area for the bands so my pass allowed me front-of-stage access to the show. I'd never been so close to legendary rock artists...just feet away and no crowds. Best. Concert. Ever.

I'm still shocked at Ronnie's passing. I was lucky enough to meet him after a show in Largo Fl. I talked with him for a good ten minutes and got him to sign my guitar. He was a real down to earth guy.
